Open for business

I just wanted to let people know that I *am* open for freelance work.

I do print, web, t-shirts, custom artwork - oh, just about anything. If I had any doubts about my ability to do something you brought to me, I'd be sure to tell you.

If you know someone who needs any of this work done, please, let me know so I can contact them, or let them know about me. You can point them to my website.

I'm having a devil of a time finding a job, so anything can help me out here. Thanks guys.

may i suggest you also might want to look at the convention listings and see if they need T shirt designs or cover art for their programs.. you MIGHT get a paid gig that way, but you can almost always get a free ad in the program book for it.....

the pagan conventions especially dont pay for deisgn, but you retain the copyright (make sure you do if they dont pay you) and you usually get paid in advertising

Where would I begin to find these convention listings? I know nothing of the con-going world to be honest. I tend to wander over to car shows instead.

well.. start by looking at my (outdated) webpage under "events"
www.fabricdragon.com
then look for auntie arwens spice blends... and look at HER events listing....and look around your Lj friends list for people who have sales webpages... and look at where they sell.

(lesee... rites of spring, free spirit gathering, four quarters , between the worlds...oh, yeah.. and never forget the value of advertising in the SCA. a TON of SCA folks are running small businesses.)

and then try a google search for "filthy pierre convention list"
and then look for links from any area wiccan or pagan shop (they might like desaign work too, you know) try www.dvpn.org to start.. or witchvox.

you like car shows? GOOD! go talk to the guys who do detailing... prep work... repair.. find hard to find parts... offer design services to them. if you know their product its a plus!
